Since the new crop of 2015 dry dates is arrived in start of August. Rain has damgged the crop in depth. Almost 35% of crop left damaged, this year premium size dates are not available in quantity. The premium sellers of dates can face the difficulty in this year. Last year where 300$ per ton Good Chalo was available, this year the same quality is on 550$ per ton CNF Nhava Sheva. Further premium quality brand like 7 start and 5 star is not available in bulk quantity this year. At this point of the year it is the best time to purchase the large quantity of Dry Dates as price is sustainable and quantity is available however price is higher than last year.
